Panelist Bios:

  • A lifelong creative, Abby began her career in the famed closets of Conde Nast, managing returns for Vogue, Glamour, GQ, and Vanity Fair. She soon transitioned to public relations, planning events and designing floral arrangements for a variety of beauty brands. Her knack for florals, combined with a Masters in Fashion Studies from Parsons, led Abigail to found Abbode: a home goods store nestled on Elizabeth Street in Nolita. What started as vintage home decor has now transformed into a booming custom embroidery business.

  • For over a century, champagne has been more than just a beverage - it's been a symbol of celebration, a toast to love and life, and a timeless tradition. From the Roaring Twenties to the modern era, champagne has been there to mark the most important moments in history. Let us raise a glass to the past, present, and future - and to the enduring elegance of HRLM champagne, crafted with the same care and expertise since 2020. The HRLM brand was co-founded by Dardra Coaxum and her partners with established winemaker Johnathan Sacy in the heart of Harlem in New York City. Working closely with the team in Champagne, France to produce the wine, they were able to challenge the very nature of the old-world codes and bring this vibrant combination of centuries-long heritage to life for the first time.

  • Big Night is a one-stop shop for hosting, founded by Katherine Lewin in 2021 in her own neighborhood of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. When Katherine Lewin opened up her first store—a dinner party shop—she had one goal: to help everyone make their meals at home feel a little bit more special. A little bit more joyful. A little bit Bigger. Before she became the founder and CEO of Big Night, Katherine Lewin was a food writer and editor. She worked at The Infatuation for almost six years. She fell in love with New York City through its restaurants, eating incredible meals in packed dining rooms where it felt like anything could happen. The more time she spent in restaurants, the more she wanted to learn how to make her own dinner magic—the kind that comes from feeding people you love, and new friends, too.

  • The story of Tarin Thomas begins on the lively streets of New York City in 2013. After moving to NYC from Toronto to study Fashion Marketing and Merchandising at Parsons, Founder Kylie Nakao found inspiration for her jewelry designs in the delicate urban details of the city she now called home. Her background as a buyer for a locally-focused specialty store provided her the insight and encouragement to pivot her ideas from loose sketches into a full collection of sophisticated yet functional jewelry. Her first collection, The Stackable Collection, offered an accessible line of dainty everyday earrings and rings that communicated the Tarin Thomas vision clearly: Jewelry that is functional, elegant, and timeless, just like the city it's made in.

  • Tanu Vasu celebrates the glamour of New York and beyond through fantastical scenes that imbue a magical essence. Tanu captures a high octane energy through the use of ink and etching techniques complimented by lavish color. She builds a delicate level of detail through layers of everyday observations which transport the audience into a whimsical world where a colorful cast of characters and personalities of spaces takes focus. Tanu develops visual concepts, art direction and illustrations which she brings to life in her extensive work with luxury clients on global and nationwide campaigns.
