Salon 21 is pleased to present “Get The Look,” a solo exhibition by Alex Leav, opening to the public on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Alex Leav’s oeuvre primarily addresses the concept of identity as it relates to the contemporary digital landscape. Working mostly with oil on canvas, she explores questions regarding the modern individual, such as the distinction between the authentic self and the digital or ideal self. Leav explores how social media can reshape our understanding of individuality through its necessitation of self-branding, promoting, and consumerism. For more details, download our press release.
