About the Artist
Frankie Thorp is a London-based artist whose work is a playful twist on traditional still life painting and features kitsch 1970s/1980s references, such as cocktails and retro desserts. The pieces are comprised of vibrant colors, playful compositions, and explore themes of memory and nostalgia. Her larger works are focused on messy tablescapes, dotted with food and drink and often accompanied by pensive looking figures.
